1. we stop, cease. We stop. First person plural subjunctive form meaning 'let us stop' or 'that we stop'; expresses a desire or suggestion to cease an action.

Example: Tondũ wa ũguo niĩ ngũtua ũũ, atĩ tũtige gũtanga andũ a Ndũrĩrĩ arĩa mekũgarũrũkĩra Ngai: (15:28–29; 21:25. It is my judgment, therefore, that we ought to stop troubling the Gentiles who turn to God,); Nũ ũũĩ kana Ngai nĩangĩgarũrũka ericũkwo, atigane na marakara macio make mahiũ ũguo, tũtige kũninwo?
