3. Data Retention

Your account information (email, name, avatar) is retained for as long as your account exists. Suggestions you submit are retained indefinitely as part of the dictionary corpus, as described in our Terms of Service. Activity timestamps and analytics data are retained for operational purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth — for user authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics — for anonymous usage statistics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Railway — for hosting the Service. Subject to Railway's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only as necessary for the operation of the Service (e.g., with authentication providers) or as required by law.

• Stop contributing at any time by simply not submitting suggestions.

Please note that User Contributions assigned to Mũgwanja LLC per the Terms of Service will not be removed upon account deletion, as they become part of the dictionary corpus.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

The Service uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token (JWT) and recent activity. We do not use tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set its own cookies for anonymous usage statistics. You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted authentication tokens (JWT), rate limiting, and secure HTTPS connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
