1. reduce, lessen. Reduce. To make smaller in amount or intensity; in agriculture, refers to reducing pest populations, costs, or management requirements.

Example: Kũgarũrira mĩmera ĩria ĩrahandwo kahũa-inĩ nĩkũnyihagia wũingĩ wa tũtambi hamwe na gũtheria mũgũnda na kũrĩmĩra kahũa.
