ndaaya
- tall, high. Tall, high. Of great height or vertical extent; used to describe physical structures like walls, towers, or mountains that rise considerably above their surroundings.
Example: Nĩ gũkorwo thĩ ng'ima yarĩ igũrũ rĩa nguo yake ĩrĩa ndaaya: (For on his full-length robe was the whole world,); na gwaka mũthingi wa thingo igĩrĩ ndaaya, iria ciarĩ cia kũgitĩra Hekaarũ. (In his time also the retaining wall was built with powerful turrets for the temple precincts.)
