- cabinet wood, almug wood. A type of valuable wood imported from Ophir, used for construction and making musical instruments; identified in translations as 'cabinet wood' or 'almug wood'
Example: Nacio ndungata cia Huramu, o na ndungata cia Suleimani, iria ciarehage thahabu imĩrutĩte Ofiru, nĩciarehire mĩtĩ iĩtagwo mĩthandari o nayo, o na tũhiga twa goro. (2CH 9:10) — The servants of Huram and of Solomon who brought gold from Ophir also brought cabinet wood and precious stones.
