mũhĩrĩga
- clan; one of the ten (kenda mũiyũru) clans of the Gĩkũyũ people, named after the nine daughters of Gĩkũyũ and Mũmbi: Wanjirũ, Wambũi, Wanjikũ, Waceera, Wairimũ, Waithĩra, Wangari, Wangarĩ (or Wanjũgũ), and Nyambura. The tenth clan, Wamũyũ, is sometimes included.
