1. new, fresh. New, fresh. Describing something recently made, unused, or not previously worked with; can describe ropes, timber, or other materials that are in pristine condition.

Example: Nake agĩkĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, Mangĩnjoha na mĩhĩndo mĩtungu ya muogothano ĩtarĩ yarutithio wĩra-rĩ, ndaaga hinya nduĩke o ta andũ arĩa angĩ. (“If they bind me tight with new ropes, with which no work has been done,” he answered her, “I shall grow weaker and be like anyone else.”); Kũg 4.8.
