- storehouses, treasures. Storehouses, treasures. Places where valuable goods, grain, or wealth are stored; repositories of precious items; can also refer metaphorically to repositories of wisdom or knowledge.
Example: Tharunji-rĩ, ũrĩ wagĩtonya kũrĩa ĩigĩtwo mĩthithũ, (Have you entered the storehouses of the snow,); Makũmbĩ maitũ nĩmaiyũrage, makiumage mĩthithũ mũthemba o mũthemba; (May our barns be full)
