1. olives, olive trees. Olives, olive trees. The olive plant or its fruit; specifically referring to olive trees. Used in the biblical place name 'kĩrĩma kĩa Mĩtamaiyũ' (Mount of Olives).

Example: No rĩrĩ, Jesu we agĩthiĩ kĩrĩma kĩa Mĩtamaiyũ. (while Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Mount of Olives : not mentioned elsewhere in the gospel tradition outside of passion week.
