hands, arms. Hands, arms. The upper limbs of the body; also used as a unit of measurement (cubit).

Example: Nakuo kwarama kwa nja ĩo mwena wa irathĩro, o ũcio ũrorete irathĩro, gũtuĩke mĩkono mĩrongo ĩtano. (The width of the court on the east side shall be fifty cubits.); Na kũraiha kwa rũbaũ, o rũbaũ, gũtuĩke mĩkono ikũmi; na kwarama gwacio, o rũbaũ, gũtuĩke mũkono ũmwe na nuthu. (The length of each frame is to be ten cubits, and its width one and a half cubits.)
