1. fragrant, aromatic. Fragrant, aromatic. Having a pleasant, sweet smell; describes perfumes, spices, oils, and ointments that emit a pleasing scent.

Example: Rekeei twĩkenie na ndibei iria cia goro na maguta marĩa manungi wega. (Let us have our fill of costly wine and perfumes,); Nao andũ amwe thĩinĩ wa athĩnjĩri-Ngai magatukangania mahuti macio manungi wega. (It was the sons of priests, however, who mixed the spiced ointments. Ex 30:20–33.)
