- nostrils. Nostrils. The openings of the nose through which air passes during breathing; often used metaphorically in biblical contexts to represent God's anger or breath.
Example: na icũhĩ cia ciara o na cia maniũrũ, (the signet rings, and the nose rings;); Hagĩkĩambata ndogo yumĩte maniũrũ make, (is probably a description of a violent, hot, and dry east-wind storm.
