1. hear me. Hear me. To listen to or pay attention to the speaker; to heed what someone says. This is an inflected form showing the first person singular object prefix nj- (me) combined with the verb root -igua (hear).

Example: Ĩ na arĩ korũo ndĩ na wa kũnjigua! (This concluding bravado fits better after v. 40a. Oh, that I had one to hear my case:); Na arĩ korũo kĩrĩndĩ gĩakwa gĩetĩkĩra kũnjigua, (So I thrust them away to the hardness of their heart;)
