kĩconoko
- disgrace, shame. Disgrace. A state of dishonor, shame, or loss of reputation in the community; humiliation resulting from shameful behavior or circumstances.
Example: Ĩtĩkĩra mahĩtia maaku, na nĩũgũthengera gĩconoko. (one who admits a fault will be kept from disgrace.); Ciana icio nĩicookagĩrĩria aciari ũũru ũcio, amu moonaga gĩconoko kĩu nĩ ũndũ wacio. (Children curse their wicked father, for they suffer disgrace because of him.)
