Or. Disjunctive conjunction presenting alternatives or choices between two or more options (mũndũ kana mũndũ-mũka = man or woman). Also used in questions presenting options.

Example: "Kambĩĩnĩ igatirihwo kana mwaka ũyũ." — The little goat will be sold this year
