ikerubi
- cherub. Cherub. A type of angelic being with wings, often depicted in pairs guarding sacred spaces; in the Bible, golden statues of cherubim were placed in the Holy of Holies in the Temple.
Example: Nakuo kũraiha kwa na igũrũ gwa ikerubi rĩmwe kwarĩ mĩkono ikũmi; naguo ũguo noguo ikerubi rĩrĩa rĩngĩ rĩatariĩ. (the first cherub was ten cubits high, and so was the second.); O narĩo ikerubi rĩu rĩngĩ rĩarĩ rĩa mĩkono ikũmi o ro ũguo; namo makerubi macio merĩ maarĩ o ũndũ ũmwe magĩthimwo, o na mwacũhĩrie o ro ũmwe.
