Example: Na rĩrĩ, mũndũ ũrĩa ũkahutia kĩimba kĩa mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ, agaikara mĩthenya mũgwanja arĩ na thahu; (Those who touch the corpse of any human being will be unclean for seven days;); Nake mũndũ o wothe ũrĩa ũkahutia ũrĩrĩ wake nĩagathambia nguo ciake, na ethambe na maĩ, na atinde e na thahu nginya o hwaĩ-inĩ. (Anyone who touches her bed shall wash his garments, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.)
