Hinomu
- Hinnom. A valley near Jerusalem, associated with idolatrous practices and child sacrifice; later used as a place name in compound forms
Example: na Zanoa, na Adulamu na tũtũũra twamo, na Lakishi hamwe na gĩthaka kĩarĩo, na Azeka, na matũũra marĩo. Ũguo nĩguo maatũũrire kũu kuuma Biri-shiba o nginya kĩanda kĩa Hinomu. (NEH 11:30) — Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its dependencies. They were settled from Beer-sheba to Ge-hinnom.
