hini
- hin (liquid measure). Hin. An ancient Hebrew unit of liquid measurement, approximately one-sixth of a bath, used for measuring wine, oil, or water in ritual contexts.
Example: O namo maĩ marĩa ũkanyuaga-rĩ, nĩ gũthimwo magathimagwo, o gĩcunjĩ gĩa ithathatũ kĩa hini ĩmwe; namo maĩ macio ũmakundage na thaa. (And the water you drink shall be the sixth of a hin Hin : see note on 45:24. by measure; each day you shall drink it.); ningĩ kĩrĩa ũkaruta nĩ ũndũ wa igongona rĩa indo cia kũnyuwo, nĩ gĩcunjĩ gĩa gatatũ kĩa hini ya ndibei, ĩtuĩke mũtararĩko ũrĩa ũnungaga wega wa kũiguwo nĩ Jehova.
