haniinĩ
- at all, even slightly. At all. Used to emphasize minimal degree or amount; even slightly or in the least degree; often used in negative constructions to mean 'not at all' or 'not in the slightest'.
Example: Nĩndagĩtegire gũtũ gwakwa o haniini na ngĩkĩwamũkĩra, na nĩndakĩgĩire na mataaro maingĩ. (In the short time I paid heed, I met with great instruction.); Ũũgĩ wa mawara ti ũũgĩ o na haniini, o na ũtaari wa kĩrimũ ndũkoragwo ũrĩ mwega o na haniini. (The knowledge of wickedness is not wisdom, nor is there prudence in the counsel of sinners.)
