Ashera

  1. Asherah pole. A wooden cult object or sacred pole associated with the Canaanite goddess Asherah, forbidden in Israelite worship; often erected near altars.

Example: Ndũkanehandĩre Ashera ya mũtĩ o na ũrĩkũ mwena-inĩ wa kĩgongona kĩrĩa ũgathondekera Jehova Ngai waku.
