Apelethi
- Pelethites. Members of a group of mercenaries who served in King David's bodyguard along with the Cherethites
Example: Na rĩrĩ, Joabu nĩwe waathaga mbũtũ yothe ya ita ya Isiraeli, nake Benaia wa Jehoiada nĩwe waathaga Akerethi, o na Apelethi, (2SA 20:23) — Joab was in command of the whole army of Israel. Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, was in command of the Cherethites and Pelethites. 2 Sm 8:16–18; 23:20.
