Example: Rĩrĩa ũkuona ũndũ wagĩrĩirwo nĩkwario, ndũkaanakire, na ndũkaanahithe ũũgĩ waku. (Do not refrain from speaking at the proper time, and do not hide your wisdom;); Ũndũ ũrĩa wagĩrĩirwo gwĩka-rĩ, ĩka guo na kinyi, na ũkũre o ũkĩrutaga wĩra waku. (My child, stand by your agreement and attend to it, grow old while doing your work.)
